VEP Environmental is an operating SIC code 2911 oil and gas refinery with the capability to process and recycle a multitude of non-hazardous and hazardous waste streams as Oil-Bearing Secondary Material (OBSM) on a Bill of Lading. The material is exempted from solid waste (RCRA) under 40 CFR 261.4(a)(12)(i).
The material is managed in 3 separate phases:
Hydrocarbon
Further processed, blended, treated and solid in various low-flash and high-flash markets
Water
Separated water is treated on-site for permitted discharge
Solids
Managed as solid hazardous waste to RCRA cement kilns and other thermal treatment outlets
